I've been having migraines recently after not having any for nearly a year. I've always wanted to try to (literally) paint a picture of how they felt, at least in my experience.
As someone whos suffered mirgaines before and has family who've suffered chronically from them, I have to say that you couldn't have captured it better. I love the red and oranges fading into the blacks and blues and how you the skull is the main part of the piece, because migraines definitely feel like they're deep into your skull(at least for me). I would have liked to see something bigger, something to show how painful a migraine really is. Technically, this is excellent. I love the layered look of the background. The skulls anatomy is right on. Amazing work! Love this.

See face book for my response. The macabre imagery captures a migraine in a beautiful and horrific context. The explosive colors are magnificent but also have symbolism. Its a technical beauty as well and a perfect commentary on a subject that many people can relate too.
